There are currently 45 separately written books in the Rescue Ranch Children’s Book Series. Books 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 17 have been published with color illustrations. Each book will have a different ending or moral but all 45 books are one long rhyming adventure from start to finish.
It all started one day when an old country farm was purchased to make room for a few zoo animals that needed to be rescued. This story might never end. An old country zoo that Grandpa Eddie visited as a young boy was closing for good. It broke Eddie’s heart because he considered the animals, not just friends, they were his family. Nobody could have predicted what would happen next once the zoo animals were brought to the farm to live out their lives. Most of the time they all get along just fine but in some of these adventures, the Rescue Ranch Family finds that they’re under attack from the wild animals that live in the nearby woods. For the farm to be safe for both the locals and the newly rescued animals they needed a few rules to keep law and order.
They wanted it to be fair but safe for everyone on Rescue Ranch so the Golden Rule was put in place. However, the wild animals from outside the farm were not interested in obeying the rules. The rules of the Ranch didn’t apply to them or so they thought. Their behavior created both Good and Evil forces on the farm that needed some balancing to keep it safe for everyone.
These opposing forces of Good and Evil, somehow, seem to be part of a universal balance to all things just as Heaven is to Hell. Whether something is hot or cold or whether it’s soft or hard, things can go sour or they can go sweet in the present moment as well as in the future. That’s life. The only soul you truly know is your own. Nobody is positively sure who or what can be trusted or what’s going to happen next. Some things that are good or bad can change or even reverse their paths in a moment without notice. Things that oppose one another in the present moment make opposites like before and after exist as words in our physical and spiritual world. Even as opposites in our language, most words give you a good or bad feeling at that moment, when you hear or read that word.
Opposites in our spiritual world are just that, they’re opposing forces God gives us to decide whether something is good or bad for our soul. The choices we make determine our life’s path and most things in life can be interpreted in shades of darkness and light. That makes every moment in time that we know as the present to appear different to every soul depending on the shade of light in that one and only moment.
Everyone is different. We don’t see exactly the same shades of light as everyone else and that gives Good and Evil a lot of gray areas to hide. It has been said that every moment in life is precious. But when you stop to think about it, it is especially precious in the present and in the future because anything and everything can and will happen depending on the things we do and the actions we take.
At this moment, 01/18/2021 at 9:20 pm EST, I felt the forces of Evil weaken on the farm. Crazy! I can’t explain it but at this moment in time, I sensed a change is coming to the Ranch, a good change. Donald the Dragon represents WE THE PEOPLE in the series as the forces of the Good battle against the forces of Evil to restore law and order on the farm. This, unfortunately, is where we are in this moment known as the present on Rescue Ranch as well as in America. In the future, one of the opposing forces of either Good or Evil will prevail and the other will collapse.
I believe I hear the sound of trumpets.
